Masala Potato (Fasting & best Apptizer)

1 Boiled potato (semi boiled)
white sendha salt (1 tea spoon)
black slat (1 tea spoon)
black pepper (1/4 tea spoon)
red chilli (1/8 tea sp)
Dhaniya powder (1/4 spoon)
lemon juice (1/2 tea spoon)
Jeera (1/2 tea spoon)
chopped green chillies, ginger and a bit garlic
Bay leave, big one Ilaichi.
Freah coriander for decoration
Oil (3 Tb spoon) (I prefer ghee to give good taste and aroma)
  • Cut the semi boiled potato into long pieces.
  • Put oil in a pan, put jeera, chopped green chillie, ginger, garlic, Bay Leave, Ilaichi.
  • Then put long pieces of potato...mix them gradualy.
  • mix all salts, red chilli powder, Dhaniya powder
  • Again mix carefully as potato pieces shd not break and mash with masalas.
  • don't cover...if you feel it is very dry..Mix little bit more oil/ghee
  • when ready to remove from flame..Mix lemon juice.
  • put in a serving dish and decorate with freash finely chopped coriander.
  • Serve with Greem Coriander Chutney & Forks....

I generally make it for the big group parties...Very quick & 1 minute recipe.
