-Channe ki Dal: 2 cup
-fine small chaopped onion: 1 small
-chopped tomato: 1/2 small (Optional)
-Chopped green chilli, ginger, garlic (depends on your taste)i 
put more as it is spicy..and specially garlic (2 cloves)

Bay leave,Jeera, red chlli, heeng, salt, lemon juice, haldi, 
coriander powder, 
Pour channa dal into water fo 1/2 hour and put in cooker at 
flame..after 1 whistle, slow down and remove after 5 minutes.

In a frying pan, put 2 sp oil & 2 sp ghee. Put heeng, bay 
leave, Jeera,green chilli, garlic, ginger, onion, tomato...

Put red chilli, haldi, coriander powder. Put boiled dal...put 
some water if it is thick...cook it for minutes...put lemon 
juice...put some fresh coriander leave and garam masala..
