Saragam Entertainment was founded by Padma Mehta, who has been intricately involved in the promotion of South Asian music and cultural events in the United States. She has won numerous awards in the field of music and entertainment. Her unrivaled record of community leadership, professional achievements and humanity has made her a worthy recipient of many awards. These endeavors have made her a well-known and respected personality in the arena of entertainment and cultural development.
She has performed in more than 1000 shows in the USA & Canada, as well as hosted TV & Radio shows in Chicago. She sings the dazzling golden melodies of Lata, Asha , Gita Dutt, Anuradha Podwal, and includes new vibrant songs from Shreya Ghoshal, Alka Yagnik in her repertoire. She is also well-versed in semi-classical music and listening to her sing Gazals will put you in a nostalgic mood. She credits her singing to her Guruji 'Vidhyaji' a colleague of renowned music director "Ravindra Jain'.
Saragam Entertainment has assisted many associations nationwide for fund raising events, festival celebrations, and social engagements including birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, and graduations. This variety of performances has contributed to the mainstream success of Saragam for over 35 years.
