An Art Competition for DV Awareness

Domestic violence is disrupting the lives of women and children in our community, creating lifelong insecurities, loss of identities, and adverse childhood experiences.
Take a sankalp [pledge] to end the cycle and create a safer world for all!
Use your creativity to spread awareness – Let your art speak!
Create an artwork that reflects Domestic or Intimate Partner Violence/Abuse. The following phrases may be an inspiration: Violence has become a culture. Pledge to CHANGE the culture. Silence will not PROTECT you.
We are holding two contests: one for those who identify as women; and one for all those who identify as men; Age 21+, & of South Asian descent (Including Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, West Indian, Nepali, & Bhutanese).
ALL submissions must be a high-resolution digital copy of the artwork in TIFF format, min. 300dpi.
If selected for display – maximum size: 18"x20". Submissions can be any medium, on canvas or paper. Framed or unframed. Unframed submissions may be mounted for display purposes.
