1 large loaf of vienna bread - unsliced 12 oz. sliced Swiss cheese 1 cup butter 2 Tbsp. poppy seeds 2 Tbsp. minced onion or dried onion 1 Tbsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. lemon juice 1 tsp. Lowry seasoned salt 1 tsp. garlic powder
1. Cut bread diagonally (1 1/2 inch squares)almost to bottom crust. DO NOT cut all the way through. 2. Place bread on aluminum foil large enough to wrap entire loaf. 3. Stuff cheese into the bread cuts. 4. Melt butter 5. Stir the remaining ingredients into melted butter. 6. Pull foil up around the sides of the loaf. Pour butter mixture over the loaf making sure to get into the cuts. 7. Wrap entire loaf in foil and place on a cookie sheet. 8. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. 9. Let set for 5 minutes to allow cheese to set up.
