-5 Cups frosted shredded wheat cereal
-1.5 cups small pretzel twists, whole grain cheese crackers or
multigrain wheat squares
- 1/2 cup dry roasted peanuts** (not recommended for children
under 3 years)
- 2 Tbspoons trans free margarine
- 1 cup raisins, dried blueberries or cherries
In a medium bowl, combine cereal, pretzels (cracker/cereal). In a medium saucepan, heat margarine & peanut butter until margarine in melted and mixture is smooth, stirring occasionally.
Pour over cereal mixture and toss gently until evenly coated. Transfer mixture to app. 13x9x2- inch pan.
bake at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until lightly toasted, stirring occasionally. Spread on waxed paper lined baking sheet. When completely cool, store in airtight container.
