Job Description

Northernaire Motel is seeking a reliable, friendly, and motivated individual to join our team as a Front Desk Clerk for evening and overnight shifts.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent customer service, can work independently, and is comfortable handling hotel operations during evening and overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, professional customer service.

• Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations.

• Answer incoming phone calls and assist with guest inquiries.

• Process guest payments and maintain accurate records.

• Respond promptly to guest requests, concerns, and complaints.

• Monitor hotel activity and help maintain a safe, secure environment.

• Perform basic cleaning and organizational duties in the lobby and front desk areas.

• Complete daily reports and basic night audit procedures as assigned.

• Communicate important information to management and incoming staff.

• Assist with other hotel duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Dependable, punctual, and responsible.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn hotel reservation software.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to multitask and remain professional in stressful situations.

• Previous hotel or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

• Willingness to work evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
